Why I Support Think & Act Differently e.V.

Dear Friends,

I have known Joël Tchouandong for many years. What connects us is not only our friendship, but also a shared question: What can we do, in practical ways, for our home countries of Cameroon and Togo?

When Africa is covered in the German media, it is often through the lens of crises. Yet the daily reality behind those headlines often remains unseen. In Garoua, in northern Cameroon, temperatures can reach up to 50°C. Many families still have no reliable access to clean drinking water, and children collect water from stagnant puddles because they have no other choice. Those images have stayed with me.

This is exactly where Think & Act Differently e.V. makes a difference.

What convinced me is not only the association's mission, but also the way it works. Everything is carried out on a voluntary basis. Projects are developed together with trusted local partners, and every donation is managed responsibly. That level of transparency inspires confidence.

I am particularly impressed by the well project in Garoua. A well is far more than a source of water—it brings health, education, and hope for the future. I am equally encouraged by the educational initiatives planned in Togo and the intercultural seminars in Germany. These are causes that are close to my heart, and I am pleased to contribute my experience.

I support Think & Act Differently e.V. because I believe lasting change happens when people take responsibility and work together.
